Answer to the question “The World Nomad Games are held in which country?

The World Nomad Games, referred to by some as the “Nomadic Olympics,” was founded in 2014 to revive and preserve the cultural heritage of nomadic people from around the world. Hosted by the Central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan and now on its third iteration, the games take place for one week every two years, and feature events such as horseback archery, wrestling, and kok-boru (a game similar to polo, but played with a goat carcass).

The 2,000+ participants are mainly from Kyrgyzstan and other former Soviet Republics, but competitors travel from Mongolia, Turkey, China, and many other countries. During the festival, participants and visitors can camp in yurt tents, and many don pointy white kalpaks, the national hat of Kyrgyzstan.
